Decoration of a party and Candy Bar in a Barcelona garden

A few weeks ago, they gave us an order that we were very excited about, it was to decorate the First Communion party for a girl named Alicia.

The place was perfect, a garden of a beautiful restaurant in Barcelona in the middle of spring. They commissioned us to decorate the tables with cheerful and decorative centers, a sweet Candy Bar table for snacks, a corner with details to give to guests and give a touch of color to the restaurant's pergola with a garland of tissue paper Pom Poms .

This was the result, I hope you like it as much as Alicia :) She and her family were radiant!

With such a beautiful garden and everything blooming in the middle of spring, it was very difficult for it not to be spectacular... We chose to set up the sweet table under an area of ​​the pergola, thus protecting us from possible rain that afternoon and the table being more collected.

We set up a sweet table with sweets in pastel tones, with a large drink dispenser with natural lemonade and cookies decorated in the shape of a flower. There was no cake, but Alicia's mother wanted to put together a delicious snack for all the guests.

The colors that Alicia chose were Fuchsia, pink, white and beige. To give it a more natural touch we use touches in Natural Jute, Kraft and Wood. On the table a Jute table runner , wooden cutlery , Kraft glasses ideal for churros with hot chocolate and the Jute garland with hearts that gave an elegant and sweet touch to the table.

We leaned the table against a wall with a beautiful vine that served as a base to place three tissue paper honeycomb fans die-cut in the colors of the party in the background.

More than 5 kilos of sweets in pastel colors were enough for all the guests. We put them selected inside glass jars decorated with fabric ribbons with a Liberty print. Nothing was missing: napkins, striped paper bags, shovels, wooden tongs and custom-made signage for this sweet table designed with calligraphic lettering indicating the flavors or fun messages. In this case we chose our wide-mouthed glass jars, they are ideal for everyone to easily pick up the sweets. Three of the jars were placed on white painted wooden boxes that gave us height so that the table looked well balanced and the candies were well exposed.

Our wooden stand served as a support for the decorated cookies that once again we commissioned from Larysa from Larycookies. This time she made us some flower-shaped shortbread cookies decorated with real fat. The Candy Bar wooden sign decorated and indicated the sweet table and the individual bottles were ready for the children to help themselves to lemonade.

We decorate the garden tables with very simple but very decorative centerpieces. They are made with small wooden baskets lined in Linen , filled with Paniculata Flower inside and transparent balloons with My Little Day moles inflated with Helium. On one of the balloons, a custom-made cardboard label put Alicia's name and a "Thank you for coming to my First Communion" and the date of the celebration. It is a simple, original and very decorative solution to the centerpiece of a lifetime.

In this photo Raquel appears in action while we were decorating a corner with the details to give to the guests and the Communion reminders hanging from a bird cage. The personalized candy jars were the star gift of the afternoon, they flew!
