A snack at home to celebrate Olivia
The same thing happens every year... When I ask Olivia what she wants to do for her birthday, she answers: "I don't want to have a party, I want to invite my 5 best friends to have a snack at home."
Well, just like that, that's how it was... We went to our Showroom a couple of weeks ago to choose what he wanted. He looked at it and touched everything and after a while, he decided that what he liked the most was the Pony collection . It is an English collection that has just arrived at the Shop. It is very feminine, with Liberty type flowers and very soft colors that I love!
Inside the kit for the snack were: the bottles with stoppers , heart stickers , striped paper straws , Pony plates , a Tassel garland , a white letter garland , Pony napkins and the most beautiful of all... the rosettes flower decorations .
We also chose 8 white boxes to make gift makeup kits for each girl. I don't know what the Ponys have to do with makeup, but well... it was perfect because she was very excited and because that way she was going to entertain herself for at least a couple of afternoons assembling the boxes for her friends. Best of all, on the day of the party they were going to have a blast playing each girl with her Kit.
We went to choose things to put in some boxes. We bought a lot of little things (very cheap) to make a beauty kit... they were going to have a great time playing with their friends. Nail files, mirrors, lip gloss, cotton, moisturizing cream, clips, pigtails, nail polish, make-up remover sponges and some animal erasers... He distributed it evenly in each box and made a label with the name of each one. girl tied up with a piece of Baker's Twine. They turned out so pretty... she also did it with so much love and dedication to each one, that the idea seemed great to me.
A shop-type trolley with wheels had just arrived at the Showroom, we bought it to use in our Candy Bars. It was perfect to take to the girls' room with the snack. Back home, I decorated it with a couple of Pom Poms, the garland of white letters announcing Olivia's name and the cardboard rosettes from the Pony collection. A rose window announced the party with a big Happy Birthday on the door of the room.
As a surprise for each girl and for Olivia, I tied a Helium balloon to each box with the label that Olivia had made. This was the most... a great surprise!
When they arrived after school, they found Olivia's room with the trolley decorated with snacks, a corner with some beauty products to play with, my daughters' bedside table as a support for drinks and best of all... transparent balloons with polka dots.
So I found some of the girls looking for their names in the balloons. They had a snack, played, shouted, danced like crazy and had a blast all together.
A great afternoon for our Olivia's 7th birthday.
I took this photo of the transparent balloons with polka dots and hearts in Mint before entering the house.
Me in the elevator at home... I barely fit through the door with so many balloons.
¡Me ha encantado la idea!
Me parece una fiesta ideal.
Felicidades para Olivia y a su mamá.
