DIY The Photocall of Carlota's party.
A few weeks ago it was my eldest daughter Carlota's birthday. Nothing in the world makes my daughters more excited than going to the store and "getting" inside the boxes to choose "everything" to set up their birthday party. And so it was, she chose everything in water green, fluorescent pink or "Fosforito" as she says and yellow, very bright and happy colors.
This year we had a party together with all the girls in the class who had their birthday that same month. Among us, the mothers of the celebrated girls, we did not want to complicate ourselves too much and we thought that by setting up a Photocall they would have a great time dressing up. They would also have a great souvenir of the party.
We set up the party in a very nice park near the school. In this park there are big trees and a cafeteria inside that was in charge of providing us with the Cathering. We used two of these large trees as the base of our Photocall that gave color to our party as well as acting as a "barrier" to better control all the girls.
To assemble our original Photocall we use the following products:
Crepe paper ribbons in pink, aqua green and yellow.
Water green, pink, white, transparent, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow balloons.
Jute string, a balloon inflator and scissors.
Carrycot or Basket with costume accessories and the Vintage Photocall Kit .
As you can see in the photos, we literally "wrapped" the two trees with the 72 meters of crepe paper tape that you had in the 3 different colors and we decorated the tree trunks with groups of colored balloons similar to the ribbons. The colored ribbons made us a colored "background" for our Photocall.
In front we placed the Carrycots with the costumes and the Vintage Photo Booth Kit that was a complete success.
They had such a good time that there was no need to hire entertainers or come up with great techniques to entertain them. In this photo Olivia appears posing very seriously as a Pirate with the Mustache from the Vintage Photo Booth Kit.
In addition, the older sisters were in charge of making up the little ones, they brought face paints and some ideas on how to make them up. They ended up being true artists!!!! This is how my daughter Carlota, who is already 8 years old, was made cute!
Until next time ;)
