This week has been very special... our Fiestas book has gone on sale and we are in disbelief!

More than a year ago, I received an email from Libros Cúpula to offer me a project that has marked a before and after in La Fiesta de Olivia . I was commissioned to write a book full of DIY, tips and ideas around the world of party decoration. They gave me a lot of freedom and with that feeling of confidence and great enthusiasm I began to create this book.

I wanted to make a book that would be a complement to Olivia's Party Blog, I come from the digital world and I thought that I could not waste the tools that exist today to complement my book and make it more interesting and useful. My idea was nothing more than to tell in it my way of designing parties, the recipes that I use daily at home with my family and the most beautiful and easy-to-copy DIYs that turn out yes or yes!

I divided this book into three large parts:
Organize and design your party. This is where we get inspired and put our ideas in order so that everything turns out perfectly.

Ideas for parties. Here you will find a selection of eight parties with different themes on which we show you the entire creation process: what inspired us, the table, ideas, recipes and the graphic design we chose for the occasion.

Decoration and party atmosphere. A selection of DIY ideas and projects that will surely help you create your perfect party.

I had the help of a wonderful photographer, Miriam Nuñez from Kiss and Chips ... what a way to laugh with Miriam at the endless shootings we did in our Showroom. Her photos were perfect... Miriam was very easy to work with since we understood each other from the beginning. Most of the photographs in our book were taken by her, a luxury!

I was extremely lucky that the best professionals told me yes, count on us! Alicia Guillen from Oh my Goodies , with whom we had collaborated for some time, was going to lay out what I had in my head as well as designing the more than 40 party printables that were going to give a unique value to each of the parties from the book.

The Indians chapter was something different, it was a Shooting that we did with the photographer Andrés Ghiorzo while we were on a family trip in Chile. In this Shooting I had a collaboration that made me very excited. My younger sister, designer Karyn Coo , helped me out and it shows. :) They are photos with a special light and magic taken on the shore of Lake Villarrica in the South of Chile. I show you one of my favorite photos of the children shooting by the lake.

This is our book, the apple of our eye... I present it to you with great enthusiasm and I hope you enjoy it and it will be of great use to you when you want to set up your parties, as much as I do. There's a lot of love in there!!!!!
