How to decorate a Sweet Table for First Communion, wedding or Baptism.
The Sweet Table, Candy Bar or sweet tables... they are all almost the same and they are all very fashionable. It has become an essential at any Wedding, Christening or First Communion. It is a surprise for the guests and children that is always very appealing. They decorate the party site, everyone likes sugar, they can take a party favor home in the form of a candy and it is relatively easy to assemble.
It can be one of the most fun preparations to do if you like Handmade. Thinking about putting up and how to present it is one of the things we like to do the most at Olivia's Party, we have made several previous Posts giving advice and we have even shown you a video.
This time, we wanted to bring you inspiration so that your Sweet Table or first communion sweet table is the most original.
To make everything look good, play with different heights: some wooden fruit boxes like in the image will work for you and that vintage wire basket with green apples looks really cute. If you put the table against the wall, put some garlands and honeycomb balls to decorate it.
Some slates with clamps or bases like these will help you to let your guests know what each dessert is about. You can use individual boxes decorated with a Baker's twine detail and some labels to present the popcorn or sweets. For the other appetizers we also love the wooden boats or the individual cones .
For soft drinks you can use some vintage bottles decorated with backer's twine or rustic twine and some pretty napkins. Don't forget to put some paper straws nearby so they can drink in style!
Another detail that cannot be missing in a First Communion are some Kraft paper bags combining the two colors of the party. They can be used both to present the snack in a box and to give a gift to the guests. Decorate them with lace ribbon if it is a girl's First Communion or with baker's twine if it is a boy's First Communion.
Decorate the cake with a garland as beautiful as these. To take it you can choose some beautiful paper plates or even some napkins and of course you can not miss some wooden spoons. If you had thought of making individual cupcakes or desserts, these cupcake bases or these individual cake cups are very original and comfortable.
Do you already know what you want to put on your Sweet Table? We hope you liked all these original ideas, in our P interest you will find many more!
